Air chargeable weight

Compare gross and volumetric weight for your shipment.

Illustrative tools for measuring carton dimensions and weight

Group packages of identical dimensions. Weight means the combined weight of all packages in that group, including packaging. Use centimetres for dimensions; a comma or period is accepted for decimals.

Cargo group 1

Group volume — m³ · Volumetric weight — kg

Total volume— m³
Total gross weight— kg
Volumetric weight— kg
Estimated CW— kg

Calculation method

CBM = Count × Length × Width × Height ÷ 1,000,000

Volumetric weight (kg) = total volume (cm³) ÷ 6,000. Estimated CW = the greater of total gross and total volumetric weight.

Added groups are treated as one shipment. Results display two decimal places without measurement or tariff rounding. Carrier rounding, minimum weights and tariff conditions can change the final CW.
